Portfolio Data & Insights Manager

Key responsibilities

 

The Portfolio Data & Insights Manager is part of the Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) team within the CIO function. The role involves identifying and delivering effective tooling solutions across AzP LPM teams, Agile Transformation Office (ATO), delivery teams, and generating insights from portfolio data to enable strategic decisions. 

 

The role also focuses on establishing target benchmark setups as target solutions, including JMP harmonization, linkage, and usage, and creating minimum dashboards (linkage, flow metrics) across strategy to execution. 

 

As a Portfolio Data & Insights Manager, you are in charge of the following responsibilities:

 

Tool Management: Establish, optimize, scale, and manage tools and systems for end-to-end steering of the Allianz Partners IT Change Portfolio.  Tool Capability Upskilling: Upskill individuals/teams in using reporting and analytics tools like Jira, Big Picture, Confluence, PowerBI, and support dashboard and roadmap creation.  Data Quality: Monitor and improve data quality across Lines of Business (LoBs), Regions, and Business Units (BUs). Actionable Insights: Generate insights to highlight portfolio performance and progress, feeding both operational activity and executive-level visibility. Performance Monitoring & Tracking: Provide guidance on portfolio performance and attention points, working closely with the wider stakeholder community. Strategic and Execution Insights Generation: Generate strategic insights and reports that cater to priority user groups, focusing on portfolio performance KPIs and the generation of business value, with leading and lagging measures. Tool Harmonization Management and Enablement: Manage the harmonization of tools across the organization, ensuring consistency and efficiency in their use. AI Enablement and Process Automation: Drive the enablement of AI technologies and process automation within the LPM framework. Implement AI-driven solutions to enhance decision-making and streamline processes.          


What you bring  

 

Proven experience in assessing and implementing tooling solutions, particularly in a portfolio management context.

Strong ability to generate insights and analysis from complex data sets, using tools like JMP, EaszBI, and PowerBI.

In-depth knowledge of delivery and performance management tools used within Allianz, such as Wave, SAP, ServiceNow, Jira, Big Picture, Confluence, and PowerBI.

Excellent ability to clearly communicate insights and information to various stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively across different levels of the organization.

Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to analyze data in depth and draw meaningful conclusions.

Ability to develop and measure performance metrics that drive continuous improvement.

Experience in lean portfolio management or agile transformation is a bonus.
