Portfolio Development Executive – Startups and Incubators

Position Summary:
Are you ready to shape the future of innovation? As the Portfolio Development Executive for Startups and Incubators, you will take the lead in building transformative partnerships that empower early-stage companies and incubators to unlock their full potential. Your mission is to drive impactful relationships, scale Siemens’ influence in the startup ecosystem, and achieve revenue growth across the Americas Zone.
Embedded within the Americas Zone sales organization, you will architect and execute growth strategies that align with the Channel Sales organization. Your work will involve partnering with Channel Management, Partner Sales Executives, and industry-specific Portfolio Development Executives to create opportunities that spark innovation across multiple industries. For incubators, you will spearhead targeted engagement, establish impactful partnerships, and manage ongoing relationships to maximize collaboration opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Startup Ecosystem Development: Conduct in-depth market research to identify promising opportunities within the startup landscape. Analyze company data and uncover insights that position Siemens as a trusted partner for emerging innovators. Design and drive strategic outreach programs in collaboration with calling teams to engage prospects. Enable and support Channel Partners in nurturing and converting opportunities into sustainable partnerships. Provide expert guidance on program eligibility and outliers, ensuring opportunities align with strategic goals. Build post-sale relationships with startups to drive expansion and long-term value. Incubator Partnerships: Identify and strategically engage incubators as trusted Siemens partners. Cultivate and manage long-term relationships to scale Siemens’ reach within the startup ecosystem. Collaborate with incubators to design and execute programs, sponsorships, and marketing initiatives. Standardize partnership agreements to ensure a seamless and efficient engagement process. Strategic Collaboration and Visibility: Partner with the Marketing team to amplify Siemens’ visibility through targeted campaigns, events, and social media. Leverage digital platforms to share success stories and position Siemens as a leader in innovation. Provide regular reporting on pipeline progress, sales execution plans, and partnership outcomes.What You’ll Bring:
Core Qualifications: A proven innovator with a bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and at least 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, presales, or product management. Deep understanding of technology and solutions, with a track record of success in customer engagement at all organizational levels. Exceptional program management skills with a history of delivering measurable results in sales and marketing initiatives. Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce (SFDC), and Tableau to drive data-informed strategies. Strong organizational acumen, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a dynamic environment. Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and technical audiences with confidence and clarity. Preferred Skills & Experience: Hands-on experience working in startup or incubator environments, with insight into their unique challenges and opportunities. Expertise in small/medium-sized business sales, marketing, or business development. Proven leadership experience, including channel sales and multi-industry solution strategies.What You’ll Gain:

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The total cash compensation range for this position is $164,200 to $328,400 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
