Position Overview:
The Portfolio\nGrowth Strategist – Test and Measurement is a key role responsible for\nmanaging and optimizing the product portfolio to ensure alignment with\nstrategic objectives and market demands. This senior-level position involves\nleading complex projects, providing strategic insights, and working cross-functionally\nto drive product success. The role requires a deep understanding of product\nlifecycle management, market trends, and portfolio strategy.

Location: Columbus OH or Richardson TX

Work Schedule: 3/2 hybrid after 1st 90 days with Honeywell

Ideal Candidate:

 Proven experience in managing product lifecycles and driving portfolio performanceExcellent project management skills, with experience in leading and executing complex projects.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret market data and translate it into actionable strategies.Strong leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing team members.

Key Responsibilities:

 
Portfolio Management: Lead the management of the\nproduct portfolio, including performance tracking, analysis, and optimization.\nDevelop and implement strategies to enhance portfolio value and drive business\ngrowth.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior\nmanagement to define and execute portfolio strategies. Contribute to long-term\nplanning and strategic decision-making based on market trends and business\nobjectives.
Product Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee all stages of\nthe product lifecycle to ensure effective management of product development,\nlaunches, and phase-outs.
Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research and\ncompetitive analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and customer needs.\nUse insights to inform product strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with\nR&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on\nproduct initiatives. Facilitate communication and coordination across\ndepartments to support successful product execution.
Project Management: Lead key portfolio projects,\nincluding new product launches, product enhancements, and market expansions.\nEnsure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on key\nperformance indicators (KPIs) for the portfolio. Analyze performance data to\nidentify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with\ncustomers, partners, and other stakeholders to gather feedback, address issues,\nand build strong relationships. Utilize feedback to drive product improvements\nand ensure customer satisfaction.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior\nteam members and support their professional development. Share expertise and\nbest practices to enhance team capabilities and performance.

Must Have:

5-7 years of experience in product management or portfolio management, with a proven track record of managing complex portfolios and leading cross-functional teams.Experience in managing product portfoliosKnowledge of market research and thoughtfulness techniquesFamiliarity with product development processes
