Summary

The Portfolio Management Analyst will support the Head of Commercial Portfolio Management in the daily oversight, administration, and analysis of the Bank’s commercial portfolio.   

Responsibilities 

Provides project management assistance for current projects and initiatives led by the Head of Commercial Portfolio Management Leads the administration of regular and ad hoc reviews of the commercial portfolio, directly interacting with internal partners and members of the Commercial Relationship Team Assists with the oversight of the commercial portfolio, including reviewing and analyzing portfolio management reports and data received by third parties to identify root causes and trends Assists with the development and administration of portfolio management dashboards and reports Assists with the ongoing administration of the Commercial Credit Academy Provides administrative support on a variety of tasks including preparation for meetings led by the Head of Commercial Portfolio Management Provides analytical support and modeling to support staffing/gearing conversations with leaders Leads troubleshooting and the resolution of escalated questions or issues Assists with drafting communication regarding underwriting and portfolio management topics Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements 

Bachelor (4-year college) degree and at least 2-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent organizational skills Ability to effectively manage projects and initiatives to completion Highly motivated with a curiosity mindset Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail Strong communication and professional writing skills Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel Ability to work under minimal supervision in a dynamic environment Understanding of commercial underwriting and portfolio management is preferred Understanding of First Horizon credit policy and commercial lending process is preferred
