Position Overview:

As a Portfolio Manager – Cabin Pressure Control Systems (CPCS), you will play a critical role in driving growth and profitability for Honeywell Aerospace Technologies’ CPCS offerings.  In this role, you will have a significant impact on our strategic direction, revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market share expansion.  You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand our portfolio and capture opportunities in high-growth sectors, while ensuring achievable plans are in place to deliver on our current year financial objectives. These activities will include elements of Product Lifecycle Management, market analysis, product development execution, portfolio analysis, portfolio rationalization, product road mapping, and inventory planning among other related portfolio activities.  Your strong leadership skills across functional disciplines, strategic thinking, and market insights will be essential in driving the success of our business.

Location:  Phoenix, AZ; Tempe, AZ

Travel:  10-20%

 

Ideal Candidate Experience 

5+ years in product management, offering management, product development, business management, engineering, program management, or related roles driving growth within a portfolioStrong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving impactful resultsEffective product lifecycle management delivering on revenue and margin goalsAbility to identify growth industry segments, and architect and execute plans to grow presence in the spaceCross-functional team leadership developing / launching new offerings in growth industries Data analysis (e.g., 80-20) assessing business performance and implementing portfolio actions to addressDeveloping and implementing portfolio blueprint process improvements and new business models to achieve maturityImplementing pricing and go-to-market strategies maximizing revenue and market shareKnowledge of aircraft environmental control systems or thermal management systems

 

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Roadmap Development

Develop and execute the overall strategy for the company’s CPCS product portfolio encompassing both existing and new offeringsUnderstand market needs, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities to define the direction HON offerings should take. Define and prioritize portfolio investments based on strategic fit, market potential, and financial viability

Product Lifecycle Management

Oversee the entire lifecycle of products within the portfolio, from concept development through end-of-life decisionsCollaborate with cross functional teams (e.g., R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, operations) to define product roadmaps, feature enhancements, and product differentiation strategiesMonitor product performance metrics, including revenue growth, profitability, and market share, and make data-driven decisions to optimize portfolio performance

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and senior management on portfolio strategy, performance, and market dynamicsFoster collaboration and alignment across functions to drive portfolio growth and profitabilityBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and key customers to drive co-development opportunities and enhance product offerings

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency within the portfolioStay in touch with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiationChampion a culture of innovation and excellence within the offering management team, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning\n\nU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
