Amentum is seeking a dynamic and innovative **Portfolio Manager** to provide program management and oversight to Project Teams ISO U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) @ Camp H.M. Smith, HI.

**Essential Responsibilities** :
+ Ensure successful implementation of the Amentum strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables committed to AAS Defense and USINDOPACOM;
+ Lead portfolio reporting and assist team in reporting to stakeholders;
+ Establish frameworks and standards for portfolio and compile portfolio related financial information;
+ Oversee portfolio costs and ensure finances are well managed;
+ Track financial reporting while ensuring the projects adhere to the agreed budget;
+ Lead and oversee talent acquisition support to the portfolio including staffing/position descriptions, interview and select candidates for hire/projects;
+ Supervise project teams, build cohesion within the teams and motivate teams to produce quality work;
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the government's program managers, Contract Officer Representative (COR), and Alternate COR in support of the portfolio;
+ Provide portfolio planning, milestone management, scope management and resource forecasting; and
Prepare regular status reporting for clients and leadership.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
+ 10 years’ experience managing projects for defense-related or other complex, large commercial programs / projects
+ At least 4 years’ experience managing resources, schedules, financials, issues and risks to ensure successful and on-time delivery on projects
+ At least 10 years’ demonstrated experience organizing and leading multi-disciplined teams
+ At least 5 years’ experience developing and presenting complex ideas to senior leadership
+ At least 4 years' experience in supporting USINDOPACOM missions, area of responsibility, and plans.
+ 15+ years of management/supervision experience in DoD in a plans, operations or intelligence related field/program
+ Current Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification.
+ Demonstrated success in government project and personnel management (DoD preferred) through prior work experience in a customer-facing role.
+ Demonstrated experience in working independently, taking initiative and leading teams to analyze and resolve problems
+ Excellent verbal, oral, interpersonal and written communication skills, including experience with developing and delivering presentations
+ Superior attention to detail and the ability to meet stringent deadlines while managing multiple tasks
+ Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (especially Microsoft Excel) and SharePoint Collaborative tools
+ Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility after your start date. Note:US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master's Degree and/or attendance at Service Command and General Staff College.
**Preferred Knowledge and Skills:**
+ Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to provide information, articles, written reports, and presentations to include delivering executive summaries to flag and general officers (FO/GO) and Senior Executive Service (SES) level officials.
+ Experience coordinating with other Department of Defense (DoD) entities, including the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and INDOPACOM's Service Components as well as non-DoD organizations such as DHS and State Department.
The salary range for this position is $150K to $170K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
