**Title: Pioneer Seeds Portfolio Marketing Manager, East**
**Job Description:**
The Pioneer Seeds Portfolio Marketing Manager (PMM) will lead the development and implementation of the annual plan for our Pioneer seed brand in eastern Canada. The Portfolio Marketing Manager will be responsible for the annual seeds forecast and financial plan, communications strategy, marketing tactics, and executing our near-term seed technology launches in eastern Canada. This role will participate in the Corn and Soybean Local Product Concept Teams to influence and implement strategies which support Corteva growth objectives. The portfolio marketing role is at the center of the entire annual marketing plan for Pioneer. This includes collaboration with the Sales Team, MarCom Team, Technical Product Manager, Customer Experience Leader, and the SEM to build integrated strategies and tools to deliver the Corteva plan. The PMM will work together with the Seeds Marketing Leader to ensure the annual plan will align to the overall Multi-Year Plan for Seed.
**Specific Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Build and Implement Annual Seeds Marketing Plan (canola, corn, soybeans, inoculant).
+ Align strategies and tools to support deliver of Multi-Year Seeds and Traits Strategy
+ Collaborate and Build Support with the PMM- West, Commercial Sales and Pioneer Agency Network
+ Design, align and implement Portfolio specific programming and pricing strategies annually to ensure a competitive offer in the market that helps to achieve our sales goals and retains maximum value for Corteva.
+ Partner with IBP Demand Manager to align annual and monthly forecast.
+ Seeds Communications Strategy
+ Partner with MarComm Team to execute integrated strategy aligned to portfolio strategy.
+ Develop and execute communication plan with Commercial Pioneer Sales teams to align on Annual Program and Pricing Strategies
+ Seeds Portfolio Lifecycle Management
+ Partner with Technical Product Manager to facilitate understanding and positioning of the portfolio to effectively manage products from launch to retirement
+ Establish initial pricing for all introductory pricing, and manage pricing to reach portfolio targets for gross price
+ Execute Launches
+ Build farmer awareness and acceptance of technology in eastern Canada
+ Partner with MarComm, and Sales Teams on awareness and education build
+ Support integration of Corteva Trait Technology
+ Partner with the SAT team to effectively market the LumiGen technology for Pioneer Seed ensuring a coordinated communication for the seed brand and the SAT technology value.
+ Pioneer Rep Channel Enablement
+ In collaboration with the Seeds Marketing Leader and the SEM:
+ Review and make any necessary changes to the Pioneer Rep Agreement Annually
+ Discuss and communicate any changes or adjustments to Commission’s for the Pioneer Rep Channel
+ Partner with MarComm to Champion and support the development of the Pioneer Rep Rewards Strategy

**Education**
+ Minimum of bachelor’s degree with a preference for Agriculture or business major.
**Experience**
+ Minimum 5 years of related experience.
+ Experience in sales or marketing is an asset.
+ Experience in the Agriculture Industry is preferred.
**Additional info & preferences**
+ This position will work in Eastern Canada.
+ Location is Eastern Canada, with an option for Calgary Alberta
+ Travel could be as much as 33% and will require overnight travel.
