The Team:The position of Portfolio Value Engineer (VE) is a trusted advisor responsible for driving value, adoption, and customer success across a portfolio of accounts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to strengthen customer engagement and ensure long-term success with the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. Your responsibilities include building scalable engagement strategies, handling critical touchpoints, identifying expansion opportunities, and mitigating renewal risks, all while fostering a strong relationship with partners and driving value realization across your accounts.
The Role:As a Portfolio Value Engineer, you will play a key role in helping our customers achieve their strategic goals and realize significant value by leveraging the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. You will collaborate with regional partners and customers, strengthening their position in the market while ensuring that they receive the guidance and tools needed for long-term success. Your role will involve driving the coordination of account activities, building structured governance at both the account and portfolio levels, and fostering value-driven relationships. The role is open for native French speakers.
In this highly collaborative position, you will work closely with our partners, customers, and internal teams to provide innovative solutions, manage escalations, and ensure the delivery of value at scale.
The Work You’ll Do:Drive Value, Adoption, and Sponsorship
Serve as the trusted advisor to customers and partners, ensuring successful adoption and value realization across your portfolio.Support the development of Centers of Excellence (CoEs) by leveraging Celonis and partner resources to deliver self-paced, classroom, and on-the-job training.
Build and maintain a structured governance model at both the account and portfolio level, ensuring alignment with customer goals.
Manage critical 1:1 customer touchpoints, coordinating with partners as needed to resolve escalations and drive customer success.
Monitor customer health through scalable strategies and provide regular check-ins to keep customers on the right track.
Mitigate renewal risks by tracking value and framing expansion opportunities through demos and strategic guidance.
Ensure customers are leveraging the latest product innovations to maintain momentum in their value journey.
Create Scalable Engagement Formats
Develop and execute impactful 1:N (one-to-many) interaction formats such as online webinars, regional in-person classroom events, and online community events.Proactively create and nurture community engagement strategies, driving content and interaction around specific focus areas.
Collaborate with the community team to gather feedback and improve engagement platform effectiveness.
Partner and Account Management
Build programmatic coordination across partner activities within your portfolio to strengthen customer relationships and drive long-term success.Monitor partner engagement and escalate when needed to ensure successful delivery of customer value. The Qualifications You Need:
Language Requirement
Native French speaker with excellent communication skills in both French and English, able to confidently engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Programmatic Execution
Strong bias for action and the ability to drive initiatives under ambiguity.Highly structured and programmatic thinking with the ability to execute complex projects efficiently.
Entrepreneurial Mindset
A passion for building new customer segments and managing a portfolio with an entrepreneurial approach.Ability to gain customer trust and drive success in limited touchpoints, delivering high impact.
Technical Expertise
Solid technical skills with the ability to quickly problem-solve and support customers, especially in 1:N office-hour setups.Strong understanding of Celonis product innovations and the ability to introduce these innovations to customers, ensuring they’re driving maximum value.
Excellent Communication & Enablement
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to enable others through clear, effective presentations and guidance.Passionate about empowering both customers and partners through training, support, and strategic insights.
Industry & Business Domain Expertise
Understanding of industry-specific business processes and a proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement.Knowledge of strategic transformation initiatives such as Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation is a plus.
