Portfolio Revenue Manager
The Portfolio Revenue Manager role is to leverage robust data-driven strategies and tactical support and embedding IHG Revenue ways of working to drive optimal revenue performance in allocated portfolio of hotels. **Role Purpose** Revenue management leader of a portfolio of hotels, the PRM is driving RM strategy, projects and initiatives to hotels. Manage the development, implementation and assessment of revenue-related strategies for hotels, encompassing all facets of pricing, demand analysis, yield management, market segmentation, business mix optimization, selling strategies and tactics in accordance with company policies and industry best practices. Assist in leadership of regional teams and hotels by providing revenue management strategies and tactics to maximize revenue and profit streams. Provide direct support to Company Managed Hotels (CMH) to drive performance metrics. Drive the development, implementation and operation of both strategic and tactical programs designed to enhance revenue management services penetration and deliver significant competitive advantage for the Hotel. Incumbent will be responsible for the performance and business trend analysis, process evaluation, budgeting, field-level training, and deployment of Company resources to achieve strategic objectives. **Key Accountabilities** 1. Work remotely as the direct revenue leader for 2-6 hotels holding daily/weekly/monthly revenue generation calls with the hotels (depending on the service level of the hotel) 2. Maintain IHG system and revenue process expertise status for self and direct reports. 3. Work closely with RSPD and Sr PRM community to find ways of improving performance, share agreed best practice and successes. 4. Actively collaborate with cross functional teams to drive the needs of the business – including tools, data, reporting and processes. 5. Help develop new SL’s & deliverables in line with the needs of the BU 6. Support the Director in effective management of the IHG Revenue (RMH) P&L 7. Ensure the effective roll out of new tools, system releases & programs ensuring team education and adoption. 8. Develop the Revenue Management talent pipeline across IHG Revenue (RMH) through the utilization of their individual strengths and abilities and by supporting their ongoing development and career goals. 9. Stay up to date with intelligence in the hotel industry & market(s) and use insight to drive revenue performance for the hotels within the portfolio 10. Lead or participate in agreed projects as requested. 11. Provide commercial team with insight into hotel performance and outlook 12. As needed, attend portfolios review with commercial team 13. Support NHOP set-up either directly or through direct reports 14. As needed, provide direction & support to area Managed hotels not on the program 15. Uphold and embed IHG Revenue (RMH) reputation as the preferred resource solution to drive performance **Key Skills & Experiences** Education – Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. Experience – 3 to 5 years progressive work-related experience in hotel operations management, revenue management. Cluster experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in central reservations systems and revenue management systems, including knowledge and experience in hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimization and selling strategies.
