Portfolio Strategy Manager

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

 

Develop and implement a strong, ambitious Portfolio strategy for China Dx Business that positions for growth across all product categories and custom service offerings, aligned with customer needs.

Drive the successful delivery against the Portfolio strategy, to:

Continue market growth of core categories (cervical health)

继续实现核心产品线业务(宫颈健康)高于市场平均的增长率

Direct the Product Management team to deliver operational business planning for the management of the mature life-cycle products (3+ years) in the Portfolio, and ensure these activities are aligned with marketing plans and activities to deliver revenue expectations.

指导产品管理团队制定成熟生命周期产品(超过3年)的运营业务计划,并确保这些活动与营销计划和活动保持一致,以实现收入预期。

Direct New Product introduction and launch plans, to deliver maximum market penetration and revenue growth in early product life-cycle

Work closely with cross function teams on approach (in-house, OEM, in-licensing), optimal product mix, and prioritization of Portfolio needs, NPD pipelines, to ensure resources are agreed and allocated in alignment with Portfolio needs and goals to deliver on strategy in near, mid and long-term.

Work with sales and product marketing to monitor and analyze customer needs, market insight and competitor trends, using these as inputs to drive successful development and delivery of a differentiated, market leading Portfolio strategy with commercialization plans via all channels and in all regions in which we operate.

与销售和产品营销团队合作,监控和分析客户需求、市场洞察和竞争趋势,并将这些信息作为输入,推动成功开发和实施差异化、市场领先的产品组合策略,通过所有渠道和我们运营的所有地区进行商业化计划。

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent or above) in a related field (Business & Clinical Medicine).

A proven background with strategic framework tools, industry analysis, and/or financial modeling. Prior market modeling, NPI and new market analysis experience is highly desirable

Strong analytical skills, broad strategic thinker and strong team player (i.e. no job is too small or too large) with an exceptional work ethic and ability to challenge the status quo.

Executive presence and strong storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate and operate comfortably with senior executives and external stakeholders (acquisition targets, KOLs).

Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, market segmentation and competitive analysis tools with strong qualitative (VOC) and quantitative (analytical modeling) assessment skills and experience and the ability to interpret large amounts of information.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Familiarity with healthcare industry; experience in Diagnostics, Medical Device or Pharmaceuticals preferred

MBA or other advanced degree preferred with a focus on marketing or strategy

Experience working in a matrix environment, with the ability to lead complex cross-functional or cross-country initiatives
