Portfolio Strategy Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Portfolio Strategy Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing portfolio strategies, leading incubation and start-up efforts, and managing overall research for the team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in portfolio management and a passion for innovation. **Key Responsibilities:** **Develop Portfolio Strategies:** + Create and implement comprehensive portfolio strategies, including positioning, line logic, and playbooks. + Explore new or adjacent category opportunities to drive growth and enhance the company's market presence. **Lead Incubation/Start-Up Efforts:** + Build out new approaches and frameworks to support incubation and start-up initiatives. + Provide recommendations for broad visions and execution enablement to ensure successful project outcomes. **Manage Overall Research:** + Oversee and coordinate research activities to support portfolio strategy development and decision-making. + Ensure that research findings are effectively integrated into portfolio strategies and business plans. **Examples of Projects:** + **New Product Launch:** Develop and execute a strategy for launching a new line of displays, including market analysis, positioning, and go-to-market plans. + **Category Expansion:** Identify and explore opportunities to expand into adjacent categories, such as smart home devices or wearable technology, and create a roadmap for entry. + **Customer Insights Initiative:** Lead a research project to gather and analyze customer feedback on existing products, and use the insights to inform future product development and improvements. + **Innovation Incubator:** Establish an internal incubator program to foster innovation within the team, including developing frameworks for evaluating and supporting new ideas and projects. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. + Proven experience in portfolio management, strategy development, and innovation. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and presentation skills. + Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. + Experience in the displays and docks industry is a plus. **Company Culture and Values:** At our company, we pride ourselves on fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. The base pay range for this role is $154,000 to $223,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).
