Role Summary: 

Provides process, materials, and/or equipment engineering support to manufacturing operations to maintain production performance or restore process capability. Provides support for day-to-day operations within the established capability of the asset.  Leads operations teams in root cause analysis and problem solving.  Provides technical expertise and direction to improve our competitive advantage for one or more technology areas.   Drives improvement programs using existing and new technologies.

Job Duties:

Plant Day-to-Day Support

Provides 24/7 technical support to the line within the established capability for the assetTracks Yield, TEEP and OEE performanceAccountable for accuracy of all plant operating procedures; Works with Improvement Engineers to develop and implement; Owns SOCs once establishedLeads troubleshooting and root cause analysis for routine production and common deviationsAssists with design of solutions to improve processes and responsible for implementation (safety, yield, uptime, capacity release)Monitors operations and recognizes when it is not in control, and understands the steps needed to addressOwns asset utilization monitoring and improvement processLeads production-related quality investigations and assists in implementation of quality improvementsLeads troubleshooting and root cause analysis for major process deviations/issuesApproves changes to SOCs, with technical management

Improvements and Development

People Development
