Post Award Analyst - Healthcare 2793495 A leading medical institution is seeking a Post Award Analyst - Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, modifying as needed, and controlling all accounting processes, analyzing project costs, monitoring all department funds for lapsing and overdrafts, and providing ad hoc expense reports. The position will be responsible for the interpretation and proper implementation of policies and procedures relative to account management and purchasing. The ideal candidate has 3 or more years of Post Award experience. The company offers a great work environment! Post Award Analyst - Healthcare Pay and Benefits: * Hourly pay: $55/hr * Worksite: Leading medical institution (San Francisco, CA 94158 - Hybrid, Must be 3 days onsite and 2 days remote) * W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL * 40 hours/week, 4 Month Assignment Post Award Analyst - Healthcare Responsibilities: * Organize, plan, establish, and monitor fiscal budget control of contracts and grants administration, gifts, endowments, and privately funded projects for faculty research programs. * Provide post-award financial administration and management for research funds in accordance with organization policy and agency requirements. * Prepare and/or process a wide variety of accounting forms corresponding to financial transactions (e.g. payment request, reimbursement request, meeting expense reimbursement request, check deposits, financial journals, cost transfers, budget journals, recharge journals). * Reconcile the GL against all payroll and non-payroll expenses to ensure that spending is in compliance with the sponsor's terms and conditions. * Appliy contracts and grants concepts to review complex grant or contract proposals obtain/verify necessary compliance approvals, and recommend/negotiate needed changes to proposals with PIs and/or department administrators. Post Award Analyst - Healthcare Qualifications: * 3+ years of Post Award experience. * Experience with university systems. * Thorough understanding of research administration guidelines of Federal and non-Federal sponsors supporting research and educational activities, preferably in a university environment. * Ability to manage a significant volume of transactions. * Ability to perform complex financial analysis and customized reporting. * Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting, fiscal, and reporting principles. * Demonstrated competence in the use of spreadsheet and database software in financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reports. * Ability to maintain independent judgment; strong organization and communication skills; and a customer service focus across broad and diverse subject areas. * Maintains current knowledge of compliance regulations in all areas of research administration. Shift: * Monday to Friday from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm.
