The Post-Closing Team Supervisor has a pivotal role in helping the Post Closing/Government Insurance department reach its goal, growth and quality objectives.Assist with the monitoring, mentorship, training and development of the post-closing and insuring team. Assist Post-Closers in obtaining missing information, preparing files, and reviewing loan documents for compliance, completeness and accuracy. Monitor the government insuring pipeline to ensure SLAs are metServe as the initial point of contact for all questions from the Post-closing Team and internal and external customers.Monitor and assist with closing team’s daily functionsMeet regularly with Management to review Post Closing and Government insuring statusComplete tasks as requested by the department managerPost-closing/Insuring processes you will assist with and oversee:Create collateral file from closing document package and scan copy into Encompass eFolderPlace collateral file in fireproof safe and add it to the collateral tracking logAssist with creating the daily Collateral Manifest for funded loans and sending to Deutsche BankMERS register newly funded loansAssist funders with Auto Assign function of closing documents in Encompass eFolderInput Security Instrument recording information in EncompassFollow up on Trailing Loan DocumentsAssist Corporate with obtaining any Title Policy/document corrections or questionsWork with Closing attorney/Title Company to obtain documents to clear file for purchasePayment of FHA, VA, USDA and PMI feesMonitor FHA Connection daily for completion of UFMIP payment and uploading remittance and payment history to Encompass eFolderPrepare, audit and submit FHA case binders to appropriate HOC officePerform Pre-endorsement review of binderScan and upload copy of binder to Encompass eFolderMonitor FHA Connection daily for endorsing of FHA case number or any Notice of ReturnsIf NOR is received work on resolution so upon receipt of binder from FHA it can be updated and resubmitted.If endorsed, upload MIC to Encompass eFolderMaintain master FHA insuring spreadsheet for internal and Corporate reportingMonitor FHA Connection LRS (Lender Reporting System) weekly for any deficiency notifications and Response RequestsReport any Response Requests to your ManagerFollow up with Manager to confirm response provided to HUD by a required dateWhat you'll need:
High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years Government Insuring experienceGood written and verbal communication skillsMinimum 2 years residential mortgage lending experience with broad knowledge of lending regulations and analysis practicesMinimum 1 year compliance or quality control experience preferredGood understanding and working knowledge of HMDA, TRID, ECOA, FCRA FHAStrong organizational skillsAbility to adapt quickly to changes and perform in a fast-paced environmentCompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $84,000.00 - $100,000.00 for Irvine, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.Benefits you’ll love:
