Post Doc - Application Development
The PositionWe are working on the future of analytical and chemical process development. To reach this goal we are searching a highly motivated and innovative postdoctoral fellow working in the field of software development for automated analytical method development to speed up analytical and chemical process development for new small molecule projects. This Position is limited for 2 years.

Of course, this advertisement is not only addressed to applicants directly after completing their doctorate, but to all qualified candidates. Tasks & responsibilitiesIn your new role, you will be responsible for developing software to enable automated method development on analytical instruments like HPLC and GC through REST API and .net applications.With your expertise, you will develop applications to fully control instruments and setup automated workflows for open and closed loop optimizations.Moreover, you will develop statistical models as well as more complex models for closed loop optimization.Additionally, you will deploy the applications internally and do user research in chemical & analytical development.In a team of other scientists, you will implement the results in chemical & analytical development and will have the opportunity to present your results in publications and at international conferences. RequirementsPh.D. in Natural Sciences, preferably with a background in application development and a special focus on automationProfound experience in programming languages for the automation of computational and experimental workflows e.g., Python, C#Profound knowledge in analytical chemistry with special focus on HPLC is welcomeTeam player with an independent working style and excellent communication skillsFluency in English, both written and spoken
