The Rutgers Institute for Nicotine and Tobacco Studies is one of the nation’s leading tobacco focused research centers and its faculty have received over $50 million in extramural funding over the past two decades. The Institute’s efforts are focused on their mission of reducing and ultimately eliminating, tobacco-related morbidity and mortality.
Five Centers or Programs currently operate at the Institute including a Tobacco Center for Regulatory Science, the Center of Excellence for Rapid Surveillance of Tobacco, the Tobacco Dependence Program, a Tobacco Industry Marketing Program, and a Tobacco Control Law & Policy Resource Center. Posting Summary Rutgers is seeking a Post Doctoral Associate for the Institute for Nicotine and Tobacco Studies, located in New Brunswick, NJ. Under the direction of Institute Faculty, the Post Doctoral Associate supports and conducts research for the Institute of Nicotine and Tobacco Studies (INTS).
Duties include: Conducts preliminary data analysis. Participates in various data collection activities. Prepares written reports, presentations, and peer-reviewed manuscripts based on the research at INTS FLSA Exempt Grade Salary Details $63,968 - $82,000 Minimum Salary 20,000 Mid Range Salary 90,000 Maximum Salary 200,000 Offer Information The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. We also take into consideration market benchmarks, if and when appropriate, and internal equity to ensure fair compensation relative to the university’s broader compensation structure.
