Recruitment/Posting Title Post Doctoral Associate Department SEBS - Environmental Science Salary Commensurate With Experience Posting Summary A postdoctoral associate is sought for a project investigating the microbial dechlorination of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (dioxins). The candidate should have experience in anaerobic microbiology, molecular methods for microbiology, bioinformatic analyses and chemical analyses including gas chromatography mass spectrometry. Experience with anaerobic microbial culture, organohalide respiring bacteria, stable isotope probing and other chemical analyses including ion chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography is desired. The candidate will be responsible for an externally funded research project and serve as a key member of a large multi-institutional project.
