The Finance Department at the University of Marylands Smith School of Business offers a twoyear postdoctoral fellowship for recent graduates with a PhD in Finance Economics or other Social Science disciplines with research interests in public policyPost doctoral researchers will collaborate with faculty members affiliated with the center to work on research projects with Finance Area Professors Vojislav Maksimovic and Liu Yang and DOIT Professor Kislaya Prasad The focus of the research will be financing and business dynamism in the US analyzing both small and entrepreneurial businesses and large incumbent firms The postdoc will also help faculty produce white papers related to US business dynamism issued by the Center for Global Business The principal duties include collecting data maintaining databases conducting statistical analysis and providing other research support
