Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Post Doctoral Associate for the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology within the School of Public Health, located in Piscataway, NJ
Under the direction of Dr. Liangyuan Hu and Dr. Jason Roy, the Post Doctoral Associate will conduct research on Bayesian methodology for causal inference, machine learning, missing data, longitudinal data analysis and survival data analysis, as well as innovative statistical applications in biomedical research. The Post-Doctoral Associate will also have abundant opportunities to work with collaborators across multiple institutions including Yale University and Columbia University.Post Doctoral Associate will be hired for two years with the possibility of extending fellowship to three years.
Duties include: Develop novel methods in areas such as Bayesian ensemble trees, Bayesian nonparametrics, causal inference, missing data, longitudinal data analysis, and survival data analysis. Lead the development of statistical methodology papers. Develop and make publicly available user-friendly software. Engage in collaborative research by applying advanced statistical methods to biomedical studies.
