The appointment will be for a two to three-year period. The main emphasis of this position will be working in the research areas of autoimmunity, immune tolerance, and GVHD. Experience in immunology, particularly adaptive immunity or immune tolerance, is desired. Post-doctoral Fellow Reports directly to Dr. Mayumi Fujita The Laboratory Manager oversees all technical laboratory staff in the Dermatology Laboratory. The employee will handle problems as they arise. - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado. The Department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado is an internationally renowned program that provides comprehensive resources for the diagnosis and therapy of diseases and conditions of the skin. The Department has a comprehensive clinical program with services at Anschutz, Children's Hospital, the VA, and community practice sites. The research activities include molecular biology and immunology of the skin, epidemiology, genetic determinants of skin diseases including melanoma and other skin cancers, and development of approaches to gene therapy in the skin.
