Essential Functions: - Collaborate with faculty and researchers to design and execute experiments in microbiology, bacterial pathogenesis, optics, and materials science. - Innovate healthcare solu1ons using engineering principles, with experience in in vivo mouse models. - Analyze experimental data, contributing to research publications. - Engage in scien1fic discussions, and present findings at conferences and seminars. - Support the supervision and mentorship of undergraduate students. - Participate in grant wri1ng and contribute to the academic community. Prerequisite Qualifications: - Hold a PhD degree in Microbiology, or a related field such as Human health, Biomedical Engineering, Material Sciences, Biosciences, and Biomedical physics. - Strong academic record and research background. - Demonstrated proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Flexible with working in both Stanford University and NJIT. - At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
