The Li Lab (https://research.fredhutch.org/haolong-li/en.html) at Fred Hutch is seeking highly motivated and collaborative Post-Doctoral Research Fellows to join our dynamic team dedicated to advancing cancer research and developing new treatments. Our research combines functional genomics and clinical genomics to uncover the molecular mechanisms driving cancer treatment resistance and to accelerate the development of novel therapeutic strategies. We use cutting-edge experimental approaches, including CRISPR, small molecule screening, and in vivo mouse modeling, with a focus on prostate cancer as a model system.
Postdoctoral fellows will have the opportunity to lead independent research projects with direct translational relevance to cancer treatment. Key areas of investigation include understanding cancer progression and resistance mechanisms, identifying novel therapeutic targets, and exploring new combinatory therapeutic strategies. The fellow will play a crucial role in studies that bridge basic science with clinical applications, particularly in therapeutics exploiting DNA repair deficiencies and immune-based treatments.
