POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER in Responsible Data Engineering Department of Computer Science and Engineering Tandon School of Engineering New York University The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Tandon School of Engineering at New York University is seeking to fill a Postdoctoral Researcher position starting in Fall 2025, to join an exciting project on Responsible Data Engineering, under the supervision of Professor Julia Stoyanovich. Responsibilities : + Produce high-quality computer science research, both independently and in collaboration with the faculty mentor. + Co-advise Ph.D students with the faculty mentor. + Participate in professional advancement events and NYU campus life. Salary and program benefits: + In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is approximately $80,000-$100,000, subject to tax withholding. + A $5,000 annual research allowance to support conference travel, publication fees, and other research-related expenses. + A benefits package, including medical and dental coverage. The position provides Postdoctoral Researchers with mentoring, professional development, and academic networking opportunities, to prepare them for faculty positions in computer science at top universities. The initial appointment is for two years, beginning in September 2025, and is renewable for a third year, subject to satisfactory progress and availability of funding.
