Shift Monday – Friday 8a-5p, some weekends as needed. Job Summary The Chattopadhyay lab is seeking a motivated post-doctoral scholar, with the ability to develop successful working relationships and to continually develop skills and knowledge. As a post-doctoral scholar, you will meet regularly with yourprogram supervisor to discuss your progress on how the host responds to virus infection and mounts antiviral innate immunity. This individual will brainstorm new projects related but not limited to the overall theme of the lab and participate in manuscript writing, grant writing, departmental seminars and national meetings, and compliance training for working with pathogens and animals. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities PhD in Biological Sciences or a closely related field; previous research experience in immunology, cell biology, and/or molecular biology techniques.
