Post Overdose Response Coordinator

Job Summary: This individual will function as a rapid responder to provide overdose response within Craven County for individuals who have experienced an overdose reversal or who are suffering from a substance use disorder and have come to the attention of Craven County EMS, CarolinaEast EMS, local law enforcement, and local health clinics. Serves as an active participant in mobile syringe service program. Duties of the PORC are limited solely to the role and department.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and across differences in culture, race, gender, beliefs, and literacy levels. Harm Reduction Training, Naloxone administration training, and peer support training desired but will be supplied after hiring. Have and maintain a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of North Carolina. Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
