Department OverviewThe Post Sales Finance Area is responsible for all tasks related to Finance from the moment an Order is received until the completion of the execution of sales contracts for goods and services.

This area plays a fundamental role in the effective management of finances and the delivery of products after the sale, ensuring customer satisfaction and the financial growth of the company. Its scope ranges from contract management, billing and collection, development of financial analysis, financial support in projects execution, collaboration with other departments, generation of reports, and data analysis to evaluate sales performance and financial management after the sale.
Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our post-sales finance team as a Post Sales Finance Analyst.

Candidates should be based in São Paulo/SP with availability to work hybrid from our office at Morumbi region.

You will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring financial data related to post-sales activities, including revenue recognition, customer contracts, and pricing strategies. Your expertise in financial analysis and reporting will contribute to the overall financial planning and decision-making processes of the company.

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including revenue forecasts, variance analysis, and trend analysis.

Prepare monthly Actual Vs Budget Analysis for Departmental Expenses (MBR)

Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to post-sales activities, such as Estimates Accuracy and Variance, Gross Margin % and others

Conduct financial analysis on post-sales initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to drive profitability and cost optimization.

Generate and analyze inventory reports to track and manage stock levels, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliations.

Prepare backlog reports to monitor and assess customer orders and deliveries, ensuring timely invoicing and revenue recognition.

Coordinate with the post-sales accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and adherence to accounting standards.

Assist in the implementation and execution of revenue recognition policies, ensuring compliance with US GAAPs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and legal, to gather necessary information and resolve any revenue recognition-related issues.

Review and reconcile customer contracts and pricing structures to ensure accurate revenue recognition and adherence to company policies.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including revenue forecasts, variance analysis, and trend analysis.

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations related to revenue recognition, and ensure compliance in all post-sales finance activities.

Provide support and assistance in ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by the finance manager.

Basic RequirementsA background in finance or accounting, with a strong understanding of financial principles and concepts.5-6 years of experience in revenue recognition, accounting and/or generating and presenting inventory reports.Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.Advanced SpanishProficiency in bi-monetary accounting principles and practices.Strong knowledge and experience in revenue recognition principles, including familiarity with US GAAPs.Ability to generate and analyze reports using financial software and tools. Is desired if own experience with Oracle Finance and Tableau.Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
