As a Staff Post-Silicon Validation Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring Marvell’s SERDES IPs perform reliably across various applications. Your efforts will influence the design, testing, and customer success of next-generation products that power global connectivity and innovation.
What You Can Expect
Challenging Work: Drive the characterization and validation of high-speed interfaces like PCIe, and Ethernet, focusing on electrical performance, compliance, and debugging.Innovation Opportunities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test methodologies, analyze circuit behavior, and identify optimizations for silicon performance and yield improvements.State-of-the-Art Tools: Utilize advanced equipment, including real-time and sampling oscilloscopes, BERTs, spectrum, vector and protocol analyzers, to conduct extensive tests and implement automation scripts for efficiency.Customer-Centric Collaboration: Provide engineering support to customers and internal teams to address performance tuning, issue resolution, and system integration challenges.What We're Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (Master’s preferred) with 5+ years of industry experience in high-speed SERDES characterization.Technical Expertise: Proficiency in lab equipment (oscilloscopes, VNAs, etc.) and signal integrity concepts like jitter, S-Parameter and eye diagram analysis, PAM-4 signaling, and SERDES compliance testing.Scripting Skills: Experience in automation using Python to streamline validation processes. C, C++, VBA, Matlab.Data visualization tools such as JMP, R, Matlab, Excel, pandasSolid fundamentals of analog & digital circuits and data communication systems.Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to debug, root-cause issues, and propose innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.Team Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively across global, multi-disciplinary teams.Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
101,900 - 150,850, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
