Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

Under the direction of the principal investigator, the Postdoctoral Associate will provide professional scientific expertise and technical support in the planning and execution of projects related to research and process development in the field of microbiome, metabolomics, and multi-omics integration in breast cancer epidemiological research.

Among the key duties for this position are the following:
Assists PI with epidemiological and complex bioinformatics data management and analysis in multi-omics microbiome research; conducts research processes and procedures in the PI laboratory. Assists in the acquisition and analysis of data, using bioinformatics, computational, and systems biology tools. Supports PI’s plans, developments, and implementations of laboratory and research studies. Assists with the instructing and training of junior laboratory personnel. Prepares manuscripts, written reports of research experiments, grant applications, and slides for scientific presentations. Gives oral presentations of the research. Collaborates with internal and external researchers on analyzing and interpreting cancer sequencing data.
