Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate within the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. This individual will conduct research investigation into elucidating the basic molecular mechanisms that underlie the pathogenesis of adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma and Fanconi anemia under the supervision of the Principal Investigator. Performs research, experiments, and laboratory techniques of a specialized nature under direct supervision of the Principal Investigator. Drafts written reports for inclusion in manuscripts and grant proposals.
Among the key duties for this position are the following:
Conducts research experiments to understand the contribution of defects in basic cellular processes, such as DNA replication, transcription and repair, to the initiation and progression of hematological malignancies and other types of cancer. Prepares written reports of the research experiments. Prepares grant proposals based on the research conducted. Gives oral presentations of the research. Understands and adheres to Rutgers’ compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Understands, demonstrates and models the Rutgers Cancer Institute core values. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
