Postdoctoral Associate (Liu)

The Department of Physics at New York University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position on the ATLAS Experiment in the group of Prof Jesse Liu. The group currently focuses on probing new physics via tau-lepton electromagnetic dipoles, and the Phase-II upgrade Inner Tracker (ITk) Strips project. Candidates with interests in developing creative and leading contributions to these research areas are preferred. The successful candidate may be located in New York or CERN, with opportunities to participate in ITk detector construction at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Review of applications will start on February 10th, 2025 and continue until the position is filled.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500 - $68,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
