Postdoctoral Fellow - Epigenet & Molecular Carcinogenesis

A post-doctoral fellowship is immediately available in the McBride laboratory in the Department of Epigenetics and Molecular Carcinogenesis. The McBride laboratory focuses on B cell biology, immunoglobulin cloning, and antibody production. This position is in the medical center in Houston, Texas.
**LEARNING OBJECTIVES**
The objectives will include the investigation of humoral tumor immunity and tumor microenvironment interaction with the immune system. This will include characterizing the role of tumor infiltrating B cells and characterizing the targets of antibodies they make. The postdoc should develop basic laboratory immunology skills and a knowledge base in B cell and tumor biology. It is expected that the postdoc will be productive and first author manuscripts in highly regarded journals.
**ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS**
The candidate must have a first-authored publication in a highly regarded scientific journal and have a demonstrated ability of independent experimental design and research. Previous experience in scientific writing or grant preparation in English is preferred.
**POSITION INFORMATION**
