Postdoctoral Fellow (Internal Medicine-Nephrology - Galveston) **Galveston, Texas, United States** Training & Education UTMB Health Requisition # 2405369 **Job Description:** The postdoctoral fellow will conduct, report and present research in his/her field of study under the supervision of a faculty mentor. This is a training position, and is not expected to be a permanent position. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** + Drive NIH or Institute funded projects under the direct supervision of PI. + Perform the proposed experiments and collect the experimental data. + Work with a group of scientists for trouble shooting and brainstorming. + Design and develop new research protocols and experimental procedures. + Analyzes data and write the findings up together with PI for publication. + Present research findings at local/national/international meetings. + Open for collaboration and work in a team based environment. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** Ph.D., M.D. or Doctoral equivalent in any field.
