Job DescriptionThe laboratory of Jonathan Peled is seeking a highly motivated and successful individual with a background in microbiology/microbiome, immunology, and/or prior experience or interest in computational/bioinformatics approaches. The lab focuses on investigating how the gut microbiome interacts with the host immune system in the context of cancer immunotherapy and allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation. This includes investigations in mouse models, with cultivated commensal organisms, and human biospecimens. As well, we have a focus on pre-clinical investigation of novel therapeutic approaches that have potential for translation into the clinic.
Our group is highly collaborative, both within MSK and outside. The laboratory seeks to develop a diverse and multi-disciplinary team of students, postdocs and research technicians.
