**Summary:**
Meta is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the DINO team inside Meta FAIR, a research organization focused on making significant progress in AI as well as applying AI to the Meta Platforms products. We are looking for recognized experts in artificial intelligence and machine learning, particularly in areas such as deep learning, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.We are committed to advancing the field of artificial intelligence by making fundamental advances in technologies to help interact with and understand our world. The FAIR team plays a critical role in advancing AI research and integrating AI technologies into Meta's products and services responsibly and ethically.
**Required Skills:**
Postdoctoral Researcher - Computer Vision (PhD) Responsibilities:
1. Conduct research to advance the science and technology of intelligent machines.
2. Conduct research that enables learning better representations of data (images, video).
3. Contribute to and apply research that advances Meta Platforms products.
4. Conduct and collaborate on research projects within a globally-based team.
**Minimum Qualifications:**

5. Currently is in the process of obtaining a PhD degree in the field of Computer Science, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
6. Research background in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, or related fields.
7. Experience in developing and debugging in C/C++, Python, C#, or similar programming language.
8. Experience manipulating and analyzing data from varying sources.
9. Experience in theoretical and empirical research and in addressing research problems.
10. Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.

11. Research and engineering experience demonstrated via grants, fellowships, patents, internships, work experience, and/or coding competitions.
12. First-authored publications at peer-reviewed conferences (e.g. NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ECCV, or ICCV).
13. Experience solving complex problems and comparing alternative solutions, tradeoffs, and diverse points of view to determine a path forward.
14. Experience working and communicating cross functionally in a team environment.
15. Experience communicating research for public audiences of peers.
