Position description
Dr. Bruce Chorpita is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. This position involves working with a multi-institution, interdisciplinary team on a variety of topics related to dissemination and implementation science. Ongoing projects represent exciting opportunities to collaborate with a robust network of community-focused researchers in psychology and artificial intelligence and computer science experts to design and test solutions to improve assessment and intervention for youth mental health.
The position is available beginning in summer 2025, and interviews will continue until an outstanding candidate is identified.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Working with community partners at our various sites
•Supervising graduate and undergraduate students at UCLA
•Performing data management tasks and statistical analysis
•Preparing scholarly manuscripts and conference presentations
•Assisting with grant applications
•Facilitating a global network of research collaborators through registration and data-sharing agreements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Doctorate in a relevant area of study prior to start date
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong leadership skills and potential to mentor graduate students
• Experience with management and analysis
• Experience working with community partners in implementation contexts
