Support: Provide support for PostgreSQL and MongoDB Atlas. Problem Resolution: Facilitate problem resolution by coordinating between the DBA team, affected application teams, other technology teams, and vendor support. Change Control: Adhere to change control procedures. Database Management: Perform monitoring, backups, troubleshooting, security, user maintenance, reporting, migrations, upgrades, data copying, etc. Database Solutions: Architect database solutions to optimally meet business needs. Collaboration: Work with application teams on database design and database issues, including shell scripting, stored procedures, SQL, query tuning, etc. Company Initiatives: Execute company initiatives in the database space. Schema Changes: Implement schema changes at the direction of the AppDev team. Disaster Recovery: Handle disaster recovery and database restoration, including recovery from backups. Automation: Automate routine tasks.

Requirements:

Experience: Experience with at least one of PostgreSQL and MongoDB Atlas. Database Concepts: Understanding of database system concepts – ACID properties, normal forms, backup and recovery mechanisms, DDL vs DML, transaction logging, log shipping, etc. Cloud Environments: Basic understanding of cloud environments, preferably Azure and AWS. Data Warehouse: Data warehouse experience.

Qualifications:

Education: BTech, BE in Computer Science or a related field. Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect is a plus.
