The historic Washington Hilton is seeking a full-time Pot Washer to join their culinary team! This 1107-room property is within blocks of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, with the White House and National Mall less than two miles away! As a Pot Washer, you would be responsible for cleaning pots/pans/skillets/cooking utensils, transporting and storing them as needed, as well as cleaning and mopping area floors and surroundings. Similar experience in a large hotel or venue is highly preferred.

Shift Pattern: varies with AM and PM shifts. Weekend/holiday availability required.

Pay Rate: $20.68-27.57 per hour

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Pot Washer, you would be responsible for cleaning pots/pans/skillets/cooking utensils, transporting and storing them as needed, as well as cleaning and mopping area floors and surroundings in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company:

\n\nPerform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.\nClean and dry floors to avoid slip/fall accidents.\nPerform other duties as requested, such as moving supplies and equipment, cleaning up spills, etc.\nAssist the chefs prepare food plates for functions as necessary.\n
