JOB SUMMARY:

The Pouring Line Attendant is required to calibrate, operate and perform preventative maintenance on the continuous mixer. They must assure quality molds are produced by operating equipment and computers to process the molds in a correct and timely manner.    

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES: 

Retrieve and inspect the correct pattern per the schedule. Operate the sand mixer to fill the mold. Control equipment that will pick up and flip the molds. Place cores in the molds correctly.  Operate mobile equipment. 

JOB EXPECTATIONS: 

Participate in safety programs. Ensure work area is clean and free of any hazards. Be a team player and have a good work ethic. Maintain a positive attitude in the workplace. Take part in lean initiatives. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education:  High school diploma/GED 

Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  Good reading, writing, mathematical, and verbal skills.
