Power BI Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Power BI Analyst to support the Retail Vision Kiosk (RVK) and Loss Prevention (LP) projects. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights into system performance, shopper behavior, AI recognition accuracy, and shrink-related trends. Key Responsibilities Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards for kiosk usage, item recognition results, and loss prevention metrics. Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and LP stakeholders to gather requirements and align reporting objectives. Transform raw data into meaningful visualizations and performance indicators using DAX, Power Query (M), and optimized data models. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and timely refresh of reports and dashboards. Automate reporting pipelines and develop scalable solutions for cross-store deployments. Provide ad hoc analyses to support operational decisions, pilot performance reviews, and loss pattern investigations. Maintain documentation for data sources, calculations, KPIs, and dashboard structure. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent. Proven experience in Power BI dashboard development and report automation. Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex datasets. Proficiency in DAX, M Query, and data modeling best practices. Ability to synthesize technical data into business-friendly insights. Strong attention to detail and critical thinking. Effective communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience in retail analytics, shrink analysis, or working with computer vision-based data. Familiarity with Azure services, data lakes, or cloud reporting environments. Exposure to AI or ML performance reporting is a plus. Experience in Agile project environments or rapid innovation cycles.
