Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to lead the migration from Tableau to Power BI. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Power BI development and direct migration projects. Knowledge of ETL processes and SQL/database development is essential, and experience migrating from Tableau to Power BI is a significant plus. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the migration of Tableau Workbooks to Power BI reports (Power BI Service), ensuring seamless transitions
• Develop and implement Power BI solutions to meet business needs
• Utilize Jira for tracking stories and progress
• Apply knowledge of ETL processes and SQL/database development to support data integration and reporting (Fabric Data Flows experience desired)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery
• Provide expertise in Power BI development and best practices
• Develop and maintain organized and secure connections from Power BI to SQL databases, Redshift, ServiceNow, Excel files (local, BOX, and OneDrive)
• Conduct small training sessions to educate users on Power BI basics and best practices
• Develop and execute proof of concepts (PoC) for new solutions and functionalities requested by business users
• Support the adoption of Power BI across the organization
• Establish and document development patterns and best practices for Power BI

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Developer
• Experience with Power BI and Power BI Service (Tableau experience is a plus)
• Experience in Microsoft Fabric service (in addition to Power BI Service) is a plus
• Strong expertise in Power BI development
• Knowledge of ETL processes and SQL/database development (Fabric Data Flows experience desired)
• Familiarity with Jira for tracking and managing stories
• Experience migrating from Tableau to Power BI is a huge plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) strongly preferred
