POWER Engineers, Member of WSP is seeking a Project Manager for our Power Delivery Project Management team located in Richmond, VA. Flexibility is available for a hybrid work environment (employee will need to live within driving distance of the Richmond office to be considered). The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and executing Power Delivery projects, managing and developing client relationships, and marketing POWER's Power Delivery services to existing and new clients in the respective region. 

Job Summary of Roles and ResponsibilitiesPromote company culture and manage internal and external relationshipsManage status reporting, invoicing, accounts receivable, and unbilled for each projectCollaborate with project design teamsProvide leadership and mentoring to the project teamDevelop & maintain schedules, lead project status meetings with project teams, oversee budgets, participate in proposal preparation, take a leading role in client relationshipsWork primarily with Power Delivery, but may also interface with other divisions, based on the nature of any particular projectThis position will primarily have local travel to regional clientsDemonstrated Project Management skills should include CPM scheduling, budget and cost analysis, managing project teams, as well as proposal writing, client marketing, and project presentations Required Education/ExperienceBachelor’s degree from an accredited University required engineering, engineering management, or construction management discipline OR 10+ years of professional experience in the electric power and communications industryTen (10) + years of applicable industry experienceFive (5) + years of relevant project management experienceRelevant experience includes small- to medium-scale project management, and/or project-lead engineering experience on projectsKnowledge and experience with project management processes and tools requiredGeneral understanding of transmission systems requiredDesired Education/ExperienceFamiliarity with regional utilities in the respective regionPE registration is desiredProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred

Base Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
