Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Minimum of 2 years of experience designing high-frequency, high-power electronic power conversion products (LV DC-DC, HV DC-DC, DC-AC, Motor Drives) for vehicles Experience with resonant conversion and soft-switched topologies Experience designing high-frequency custom magnetics Experience with circuit simulation and thermal calculations Occasional travel may be requiredPreferred Skills:
Familiarity with high-voltage (700V-2kV) and high-current (10A-600A) products Familiarity with applicable industry standards (SAE, ISO, UL, etc.) Familiarity with mobile industrial markets related to hybrid, BEB, and FCEB vehicles Altium PCB design software familiarityJob Responsibilities:
Develop new power conversion products for multiple vehicle segments Provide technical support for legacy products Create hardware specifications, circuit designs, theories of operations, and select components based on design requirements Collaborate with PCB and Mechanical Engineers for product and power stage designs, focusing on efficiency, EMI containment, and thermal management Work with Software Engineers to define power stage controls and protection strategies Review test results with Product Development Engineers and assist with non-compliance resolution Assist in selecting power electronic components for legacy products nearing obsolescence Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and LT Spice (or equivalent) for circuit simulation and analysisPay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
