Develop, test, and maintain software applications in a Linux environment.Write and maintain efficient Linux shell scripts to automate tasks and improve system performance.Design, develop, and manage databases to support software applications.Utilize web frameworks to create and maintain dynamic web applications.Collaborate with engineers in the electrical power field to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance system performance and reliability.Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code in various programming languages, including C, Python, and Go.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.This job might be for you if:
You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.You have experience in full-stack development, modern CI/CD pipelines & with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.You have familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux programming.You have proven experience with Linux shell scripting.You have strong experience in database design, development, and management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).You have proficiency in web development using popular web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, or similar).You have extensive knowledge of programming languages including C, C++, Python, and Go.You have containerization Experience: Proven experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for developing, deploying, and managing applications in containerized environments.You have in-depth understanding of Linux operating systems and kernel development.You have a solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.You have familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.

Pay Range Data:
We anticipate filling this position as a Lead Software Engineer $80,000 - $ 120,000. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
