**DESCRIPTION** **Job Summary:** Completes troubleshooting, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop independently , while coaching and developing less experienced technicians We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (Las Vegas, NV). In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: + Completing repair activities on generators or components + Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of service + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: + Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. + High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. + Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **(Advanced):** + Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems. + Understanding switchgear schematics. + Able to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics. **QUALIFICATIONS** 1: Must be willing to get all safety training and certifications for working with electricity. 2: Must be willing and able to learn to use in-power software. 3: Must be able to operate independently. + This position does not require any DOT related pre-screenings. **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** Apprentice Trained Power Generation / Electrical Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience:** Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products High Voltage /Low Voltage practical experience Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred) **Compensation and Benefits Base** Salary rate commensurate with experience.
