Power Generation Workshop Technician - Level I

**DESCRIPTION**
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**
+ Execute repairs and rebuilds on power generation products in a service workshop under supervision.
+ Apply documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and scheduled maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools.
+ Disassemble power generation equipment.
+ Assist with completing required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
+ Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
+ Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
+ Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues/incidents to your supervisor.

**Service Documentation:** Creates and verifies customer, equipment, and technical information; documents required information in the service management system.
**Technical Escalation:** Elevates issues to a higher level of expertise and captures all troubleshooting steps in the appropriate database.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
+ **Education:** Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution. Apprentice Trained Power Generation/Electrical Technician preferred.
+ **Licenses/Certifications:** Current relevant electrical certification. Locally valid driving permit preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
+ **Experience:** Minimal level of workshop-related experience required. Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products. High Voltage/Low Voltage practical experience.
