Job Title: Power Pallet Operator

Job Description

This position involves picking orders for various pet products, including pet food and litter. The role requires operating a double walkie/end rider power pallet jack and performing repetitive lifting up to 50lbs. You will be using a Vocollect Headset for voice-directed picking and building pallets.

ResponsibilitiesPick orders for pet products using the Vocollect Headset.Operate a walkie/double end rider power pallet jack.Perform repetitive lifting of items up to 50lbs from floor to shoulder.Build pallets by continuously lifting products.May need to pick items from pallets above head level.Meet standard KPI expectations of 170 cases per hour (approximately 2 pallets per hour).Perform manual labor and operate other equipment such as the reach or dock stocker if required.Ensure productivity is monitored and tracked daily/weekly.Essential SkillsExperience with walkie/double end rider power pallet jack (must pass a full forklift assessment).Order picking experience.Ability to lift 50lbs continuously.Strong communication skills to understand and follow Vocollect Headset instructions.Reliable transportation (no bus service to the site).Proven reliability in previous roles.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with reach or dockstocker equipment.Vocollect headset picking experience.Shipper/receiver experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position is based in a brand new 3PL warehouse for pet products, The shift is Monday to Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00pm with potential for overtime. The culture is 'work hard, play hard' with a pet-friendly atmosphere, including pictures of employees' pets displayed around the warehouse. The work location requires a personal vehicle for commuting.
