Role Summary/Purpose:
In this role, you’ll maintain and oversee replacement, installation and maintenance of generation plant equipment and structures; you’ll identify, analyze, and implement preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance; oversee plant computer and control systems; collect and analyze maintenance data via CMMS and develop/manage major maintenance planning and execution.
Essential Responsibilities:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will:
Maintain care, custody, control, and safe maintenance practices.Promote a safe working environment and ensure that all personnel and contractors follow facility and company safety procedures and policies.Complete NERC Compliance maintenance activities.Manage Predictive and Preventive maintenance activities at the Facility to ensure equipment reliability.Assure safe, timely and efficient resolution of problems to return systems and equipment to ready-to-run condition and meet system operability needs.Lead the Maintenance team and ensure work group activities are performed on time and within budget through effective planning, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities and utilization of resources.Provide strong leadership and coaching for the maintenance department.Manage outside contractor performance, including evaluating proposals and quotations, generating purchase requisitions, providing direction and expectations, and monitoring work performance.Supervise regulatory compliance for NERC, environmental, health, and safety requirements.Assist in annual budget preparation for owner and effectively manage plant expenditures.Follow operational objectives consistent with achieving maximum plant efficiency to meet customer requirements in the most safe, reliable, economical, and environmentally safe manner.Develop and implement training and personnel resource plans to ensure adequate resources to satisfy plant needs.Identify and diagnose equipment and system operating failures and abnormal conditions. Identify and initiate corrective actions as appropriate with the assistance of other staff members.Develop the Weekly and Monthly Facility Reports.Maintain availability 24 hours per day on-call basis with backup from the Plant Manager, or designee.Participate in outage planning and execution to ensure the safety of personnel and on-time completion of the work scope. Plan, track, and document work completion.Work in conjunction with plant personnel and contractors to develop and maintain outage scope of work planning and execution.Facilitate and coordinate proactive risk assessment and root-cause analysis of equipment failures and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.Develop and implement process improvements utilizing Management of Change procedures.Recruit, interview and actively participate in the selection of maintenance personnel. Assure proper staffing, scheduling and training of maintenance personnel.Maintain consistent communications with the Plant Manager, EHS Manager, Operations Manager and Energy Resources Manager (customer).Lead Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)Lead Root Cause Analysis
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 6 years of power plant experience). Minimum 5 years’ experience with increasing levels of responsibility in plant maintenance. Minimum 3 years’ experience with large frame Gas TurbinesEligibility Requirements:
Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license.Ability and willingness to submit to a physical, respirator and hearing screening upon hire.Ability and willingness to use personnel protective equipment (i.e., hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, latex / rubber / leather gloves, safety shoes and respirator) as needed.Desired Characteristics:

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $91,400-$152,200 USD Annually.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
