The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Power Plant Operator to join the team in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

Operate boilers, with responsibility to operate engines and boiler associated auxiliary equipment depending on locationRead gauges, meters, and charts to track boiler operationsMonitor boiler water, chemical, and fuel levelsActivate valves to change the amount of water, air, and fuel in boilersFeed boilers using gas feeds or oil pumps, inspect and maintain equipment to ensure that it is operating efficientlyCheck safety devices and perform environmental checks routinelyRecord data and keep logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activity

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience with Boiler OperationsCity of Seattle Steam Engineer's License Grade 2Valid state driver’s license

                                                                   

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience with Boiler OperationsCity of Seattle Steam Engineer's License Grade 1
