Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Power Plant Process Engineer to optimize and enhance the performance of our power plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, expertise in power plant systems, and the ability to analyze and improve operational processes to ensure maximum efficiency, safety, and compliance.

Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).

Training: In-depth knowledge of power plant equipment, thermodynamics, and process control systems.

Minimum Experience Required: A minimum of [10] years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the energy or power generation industry

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and optimize power plant processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. Monitor the performance of plant equipment and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure seamless workflow and problem resolution. Design and implement process modifications to achieve performance targets. Conduct root cause analyses to address equipment failures and propose long-term solutions. Ensure all processes comply with safety standards and environmental regulations. Prepare detailed reports on process performance, trends, and improvement initiatives. Provide technical support for troubleshooting and operational challenges.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent) A minimum of [10] years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the energy or power generation industry. In-depth knowledge of power plant equipment, thermodynamics, and process control systems. Proficiency in using process simulation and analysis software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex engineering problems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to power plant operations.
