Summary Job title: Power Specialist Job ID: 202496860002 Department: Vancouver Columbia TRC Location: WA-Vancouver Description Summary: + This role is technically and customer-facing focused. + The position: + + supports sales growth and leads pre-sale technical, customer-facing activities for core products including Component drives, Architecture drives , Packaged drives, MCCs and Medium Voltage. + provides post-sales support while appropriately leveraging Remote Support and ASP. + executes core commercial activities and events + defines product configurations + provides technical, application, and industry training Reports to: Solution Consultants Manager Minimum Qualifications: + 2-year technical degree OR equivalent combination of skills, experience and education + Demonstrated proficiency in using RA Cbi, RA foundations, and other remote demonstration/training tools + Understanding of applications in targeted industries within APR + Demonstrated ability to use configuration tools such as Proposal Works + Understanding of power one-line diagrams and SCCR (short-circuit current rating) requirements + Ability to use software including CCW, Studio 5000, Web based simulation tools Preferred Qualifications: + Creativity/ability to drive customer share + Willing to continuously learn and improve technical competency Working Conditions: This position operates in an office environment which requires sitting and working at a computer workstation for extended periods. Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: + Articulate and demonstrate core technologies including Premier Integration, Automatic Device Configuration, TotalFORCE control, CIP motion (PowerFlex 527, PowerFlex 755), and intelligent MCC's + Articulate core product capabilities to customers in a way that is relevant to customer's industry and applications + Understand legacy products and provide modernization guidance from legacy products to latest technology + Provide guidance to customers on proper installation and configuration of core products + Articulate power and intelligent motor control packaging capability + Collaborate with RA sales, domain experts, and distributor sales to sell core products + Work with customers on pre-sale and post-sale engagements + Collaborate and support other specialists + Respond in a timely manner to customer and sales requests, including outside of normal business hours + Lead and support customer-facing technical events CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is $90000 to $130000 annually.
